Purposes Of Planning Documents

Proposal - This is done so that the client knows that the person they have hired works to a professional/near professional standard and knows what they are doing, and to give the client everything they need to know about the producer's idea. Treatment - Similar to the proposal, this used to give all the information about the video, specifically everything that will be seen and heard in the finished product. Storyboard - The storyboard is used as a plan for the filming of the video. Call Sheet - This is used so that everyone involved in the filming process knows where and when they're filming.
Target Audience The target audience we are aiming to attract to our music video is teenagers and young adults, generally aged 16-24.  The reason for this is because the music genre of the song, thst being RnB, which is a popular genre among people of that group. Therefore, the fact we are also including an actor in the video of that age will make it more appealing to that group. Our video also alludes to another music video subtly, that video being Just by Radiohead. By making our video inspired by the surrealistic nature of the Radiohead one, we may even attract an audience of older adults who not only listen to that kind of music and would’ve seen the video, but also those interested or have more understanding of surrealism.

Developing Ideas

Initial Response Cameron Douglas - you make me high Music genre The genre of the song is RnB. This is due to the fairly soft piano melodies and beats which play along side a male rapper. An  example of another RnB song that is similar to this in style would be Blue Lights by Jorja Smith. Style The style of music video that this song would mostly fit under is the Popular Music genre, this being because in many RnB videos the artist or others in the video are seen lip syncing to the song, especially if the song includes rap, and RnB and Pop genres are becoming more intertwined in recent times. One example of a video that includes this is The Hills by The Weeknd. Length 4 minutes (the song’s duration runs over 4 minutes) Pace The song overall has a fairly slow pace with the instrumentation but the vocals (which are rapped) are fast, so for the video I would want to cut to the beat with a mixture of fast and slow cuts to make it more visually interesting and fit the beat of th

Harry Assignment 2 Script

Script for Assignment 2 Slide 1 (HEADING) Tame Impala - The Less I Know The Better For this Tame Impala video, Surrealism has been used, which is when a video attempts to break the boundaries between what is real and what is a dream. The reason for the video being surrealist is due to the use of unusual imagery, for example the fact that a man in a gorilla costume is in a high school setting. The video also includes a mixture of live action and Animation , the animation style in this video being 2d traditional style as it has clearly been drawn with pen on real paper, although it may have ben digitally edited. Some early examples of videos that include animation with live action were in the 1980s with Money For Nothing by Dire Straits which included the first example of CGI in a music video that looked out of the this world for the time period it was made, and Take On Me by A-ha is probably the most similar example to the Tame Impala video as both animated parts are traditionall
My Product + Script Ideas The product I have decided to create for my radio advert is a new tour for the band Blur that will be named “Blur’s Charmless Tour 2020”. The advert for the product will be aimed at British adults and possibly young adults, particularly in their 20s-30s as they would’ve most likely grown up with Blur’s music and be more familiar with it than younger people. The ticket prices of the tour will be £90 for standing and £60 for seated, being more on the expensive side than other concerts because Blur haven’t toured for a few years and are such a big band that the target audience would be prepared to pay the price to see them. The unique selling point for my product also links to the fact that they are such a big band and will deliver a very unique performance for their fans obviously different to other bands. The budget for the radio advert is £0. 1st Script ideas Title: Blur's Charmless Tour 2020 One male narrator who enthusiastically informs the
Assignment 1 - The Theory Of Films - Auteur Theory Tim Burton Tim Burton was born in 1958 in California. His first film was made in 1971 meaning he’s been making films for 47 years now, and he has directed around 38 short and feature length films, some of his most notable works being “Alice In Wonderland”, “Beetlejuice”, “Edward Scissorhands”, “Sweeney Todd” and “The Nightmare Before Christmas”. Tim is known as an Auteur filmmaker due to his signature dark and gothic approach when creating a film, whether it’s meant to be dark or not. This style has become instantly recognisable by his huge fanbase through the narratives, characters and even colour schemes that he uses in his films. Usually, he chooses to give at least one character in every film a dark past or appearance which can set a slightly unsettling atmosphere for the audience, but at the same time makes all his characters very loveable for their strange traits, even adding elements of comedy to a lot of his darkest ch
